Jees Die Cwoss

I have a precious story for those of you interested in what is going on at our house. Sam put Reid to bed Monday night, and then came to me and told me I wouldn't believe the conversation he had just had with Reid.

Reid: "Daddy, let's talk."

Sam: "What do you want to talk about, Punkin?"

Reid: "Jees"

Sam: "Jesus? We can talk about Jesus. What about Jesus? What did Jesus do?"

Reid: "Die Cwoss"

My heart was overflowing with emotion. The fact that my precious baby knows that Jesus died on the cross is a great blessing for me. It makes everything I am doing worth while! Be blessed today!

This Week At Our House...

Landry likes his exersaucer, his fingers, and his blanket. Sound familiar?

Being SO silly!

We love to read books!

Cowboy cap and all!

Landry is still trying to decide about the cap!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!

Sweet boy

Reid is finally over the stomach virus. Yeah!!! That was absolutely NO FUN!!! This week we have had some pretty neat things going on here, and we just thought we would share them with you.

  • Reid can count to 10
  • Landry LOVES his food
  • Reid is talking in more sentence style
  • Landry smiles all the time
  • Sam took BOTH the boys out to dinner BY HIMSELF - and did well!
  • Reid has not been sucking his fingers! Can you believe it?!
  • I was gone when it was time for bed last night, and Reid wanted to give me a kiss. So Sam told him to blow me a kiss out the window, and he did!!!
  • Sam has had a really good confidence-building work week - thank you, Jesus! What a blessing!

Hope all of you have had a blessed week as well!

Stomach Virus!!!

The stomach virus has graced its presence at our house for the second time in 7 months. Reid is sick, and I am praying that Landry, Sam, and me do not get it this time! This morning I made a palette for Reid in the den - complete with barf bowl - and he loved it! He likes taking naps there instead of in his bed.

Even though he doesn't feel good, he is still smiling! I love that little man!
