This past weekend was a very special one for our family. We dedicated Landry to the Lord at our church. Although Sam and I had already done this in our hearts, there was something very special about dedicating him in front of our church body. As I stood there in front of our church with my husband and holding our son, I had a very hard time trying to control my emotions. I was overwhelmed by several things: 1. That Jesus would give me these 2 precious boys to care for on this earth 2. That I have a precious, loving family and very special friends there to support Sam and me this particular day, and 3. That He has given me a wonderful church home to love and call my own. Our church does everything within their power to nurture Sam and me, as well as our boys! That is something to celebrate! As the title to the post reads, I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude to my Lord and Savior! He is SO good!
