Washington D.C. - Day 2

We decided to go to the Air and Space Museum first. We thought the boys, Reid particularly, would be fascinated with the airplanes. It was neat for Sam and me, too! Unfortunately, Joy had to work so she was not able to accompany us on our first adventure.

Inside the museum, Reid enjoyed riding on Uncle Dade's shoulders!

We rode the carousel in the National Mall. Can you tell what color horse Reid picked to ride? You guessed it...BLUE! Sam just about got sick just watching it, but he was able to get a picture of us on it!

That afternoon, Uncle Dade kept the boys while Sam and I attended a C.E. course. I think Dade might have gotten more than he bargained for, but he did great! That night, we headed to the Nationals game. Joy got us tickets to go, and she met us at the game that night. This is Dade, Reid, Landry, and Sam close to where we parked overlooking the field.

We were able to use the suite that Joy's firm has - it was SO NICE, and perfect for the boys! They had room to walk, run, and climb, but they were pinned in while they did it. We had our own private bath and kitchen, too! Yeah, it was pretty sweet! Notice the seats we had - leather, high back - Landry loved it!

When Aunt Joy arrived, it was party time! The boys enjoyed dancing to the loud music.

I wanted to get a picture of the score after the game, but it was electronic and gone by the time I took this picture. However, the Nationals had their first win of the season that night against the Phillies. The night was so much fun!
